Talent Manager, Producer & City Councilperson, McCorkindale managed legend Dwight Yoakam for the better part of the last decade guiding the entirety of his career, including music, television and lifestyle/brand endeavors. McCorkindale has also spent years in Film / TV as a Producer. She founded Beyond Entertainment with Academy Award winner Katja von Garnier, producing Golden Globe winner Iron Jawed Angels; and recently produced Saw You Coming about the life of Yoakam. McCorkindale's career began as award-winning journalist/columnist & then studio executive, including serving at Vice President of Development and Production for The Goldstein Company (Pretty Woman, Under Siege). McCorkindale's feature film, Disturbing the Peace was based on her experiences dealing with gang activity and the LAPD in Los Angeles. McCorkindale is now a sought after panel speaker, a TED conference attendee, a member of the Producers Guild of America, and named one of FADE IN Magazine's 50 Most Important People to Know in Hollywood. She is known for selling Yoakam's publishing catalogue for one of the highest multiples in history and for managing all sectors of his career herself: music, touring, film, television; as well overseeing his food brand empire Bakersfield Biscuits. McCorkindale also served as the Mayor of the City of Hidden Hills, one of America's most well known celebrity cities, and she sits on the Los Angeles Board representing Calabasas, Agoura Hills, Westlake Village, Malibu and Hidden Hills, while continuing her work in the entertainment business. McCorkindale is also the author of the feel good inspirational book: ON THE BRIGHT SIDE: Ways to Feel Safe in Challenging Times & occasionally works as a strategic consultant helping business innovators / creators involved in extraordinary services, particularly those that resolve problems to help make the world a better place.
