McCorkindale's career began as award-winning journalist/columnist & then studio executive, including serving at Vice President of Development and Production for The Goldstein Company (Pretty Woman, Under Siege). McCorkindale's feature film, Disturbing the Peace was based on her experiences dealing with gang activity and the LAPD in Los Angeles. McCorkindale is now a sought after panel speaker, a TED conference attendee, a member of the Producers Guild of America, and named one of FADE IN Magazine's 50 Most Important People to Know in Hollywood. She is known for selling Yoakam's publishing catalogue for one of the highest multiples in history and for managing all sectors of his career herself: music, touring, film, television; as well overseeing his food brand empire Bakersfield Biscuits. McCorkindale also served as the Mayor of the City of Hidden Hills, one of America's most well known celebrity cities, and she sits on the Los Angeles Board representing Calabasas, Agoura Hills, Westlake Village, Malibu and Hidden Hills, while continuing her work in the entertainment business.
