Phillip Christon is an award-winning American director and screenwriter whose films have been awarded at major film festivals around the world. His controversial dramatic debut, "The Chosen One" starring Michelle Forbes received the Bronze Award at the WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival, won the Audience Award at the Schikaneder Film Festival, Austria and was a finalist at the USA Film Festival, Dallas. His award-winning follow up film, "The Bundle" won the Gold Award at the WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival, the Best Of at the Weis International Film Festival, Vienna; made the Official Selection at the Hamptons International Film Festival and was immediately picked up for distribution by Bravo and The Independent Film Channel. His latest award-winning film, "I'm Not Britney" starring Ndoema premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and has spun a global movement spanning over 60 countries around the world.

Born in San Francisco, California, Phillip displayed prodigious talent at an early age. A gifted artist, he was featured in and received top prize form San Francisco's leading newspaper The Chronicle at the age of eight, commenced writing and directing local Children's Theater at age ten, began producing his own films at age eleven and was actively employed as a professional commercial illustrator throughout the San Francisco Bay Area by age thirteen. Subsequently awarded with the prestigious Bank of America College Scholarship Foundation's highest honor for all of Northern California, Phillip migrated to Los Angeles, graduating summa cum-laude from the UCLA College of Fine Arts Cinema Program. Fresh out of UCLA, his Hollywood career was kick-started by a hands-on internship with director Jonathan Demme and producers Charles Mulvehill and 'Jerry Bick. This was immediately followed by a wide variety of studio employment as a location manager, second assistant director, production manager and quickly one of the youngest first assistant directors then working in Feature Films, Commercials and Music Videos alongside some of Hollywood's most prestigious filmmakers, including Gus Van Sant, Bill Condon, Gore Verbinski, Kathryn Bigelow and Tony Kaye, as well as top fashion photographers Annie Leibovitz, Herb Ritts and Matthew Rolston.

Christon has worked for nearly every major studio and several top indie companies including Paramount, Universal, Warner Bros., Tri Star, New Line Cinema, American Playhouse and the De Laurentiis Entertainment Group, with titles ranging from "Corrina, Corrina" starring Whoopi Goldberg and Ray Liotta; "Even Cowgirls Get the Blues" starring Uma Thurman and Keanu Reeves; "Sister, Sister" starring Jennifer Jason Leigh and Eric Stoltz; "The Linguini Incident" starring David Bowie and Rosanna Arquette; "House Party 2" with Queen Latifah, Martin Lawrence and Iman; and Stephen King's "Pet Semetary".
