A retired Military Professional (Retirement date: 1 August, 2011) with 25 years of management and training experience in the Special Operations and Infantry fields. Combat Deployed in support of Operation Just Cause (Panama), Operation Enduring Freedom (x3) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (x1). Served as the Mentor / Trainer to the Afghan Sergeants Major of the Army. Served in every Non-commissioned Officer position of responsibility in the Army from Team Leader to Command Sergeant Major. Accountable, ambitious, and adaptive: able to remain focused and productive in harsh and challenging situations and environments.
An intense love of history lead to volunteer work as a living historian for over 30 years, concentrating on Colonial America, the American Civil War, and all 20th Century conflicts.
Extensive experience with black powder weapons systems. Both infantry based small arms and muzzle loading artillery. Worked as the primary Firearms Instructor for the Mountain State Tactical Officers Association. Responsible for training Law Enforcement tactical response teams in urban movement and practical dynamic marksmanship.
An expert in all modern small arms and small arms training techniques. A Copy of DD-214 may be provided upon request.
