"Cross-training" to sharpen Ghia Truesdale's writing skills, she is grateful to have earned her first SAG Union Voucher in 2019 as The Chef in the award-winning short film THE MUSHROOM HUNTRESS opposite star Lacey Hannon. Garnering full SAG-AFTRA national membership in 2021, Ghia extolls Boston Casting with thanks for casting her in HBO Max series JULIA, S1, S2, wherein Ghia is a Staffer Extra in WGBH-TV "French Chef". Her other appearances in TV series include THE GILDED AGE, Stand-In for Luisa Jacobson (Marian Brook), the Whitney Houston biopic IWDWS, and KEVIN CAN F* HIMSELF, as well as feature films BOSTON STRANGLER as Boston Globe Lifestyle Reporter thanks to Billy Dowd, THE COLLABORATION as Young Julia Warhol, CLAIRE, and-pre-SAG-Lead roles in Emerson College student films WAITING FOR PEPPINO's gum-snapper Kathy, I'M SORRY PARIS HILTON's influencer Socialite, Boston Detective Lexi in THERAPEUTIC DOSE, and NOTRE DAMES' 12th century French Nun. Ghia is thankful, too, for national brand commercials with BOSE CORP, WORKHUMAN, TENTH STREET HATS, VERIZON 5G / NFL, BERKSHIRE HATHAWAY HOME SERVICES, STRYDE FITNESS BIKE, NOOM, and others. She trained with Michael Schulman in NYC, and continues learning acting techniques with Nicole Marshall Watkins, and recent Boston Casting workshops: STAND-IN TRAINING, ON-CAMERA COMEDY with renowned Director, Wendy Faraone, and AUDIOBOOKS & VO with Leonardo Audio's Chris Ciulla. With a dual degree in German and Spanish Language and Literature from Wells College, Aurora, NY-an absolute gem of an institution of higher learning, and former sister school of Cornell University-Ghia speaks English, German (Hochdeutsch and Plattdeutsch), Spanish (Castillian and Latinex), can read French and Dutch for VO, and delights in affecting accents: Queen's English, Patrician Bostonian, "Wicked Smaaht" Boston, Southern (educated or uneducated), Joyzeee Gumsnap, French, German, Spanish. At Wells, she received voice training from Crawford R. Thoburn. Having traveled extensively on five continents, Ghia is a graduate of Holderness School in New Hampshire near her childhood home, and studied, for one year each: at Berkhamsted School for Girls, Hertfordshire, England, thanks to an English-Speaking Union merit scholarship and where she received training in voice, diction, enunciation, singing, and theatre; University of Bonn, Germany; and University of Seville, Spain. Soon after college, while serving in executive capacities with luminary corporations' headquartered in NYC (Clinique Laboratories, Inc., Estee Lauder, Inc., and Murdoch Magazines)-and chasing her first publishing deal-Ghia started to gather entertainment industry experience collaborating as co-scribe with Adam Novak before he became Head of Story Dept. at WillMo, and ScriptWorks NYC founder Frank Pellegrino before he launched restauranteur uncle's legendary Rao's Marinara, best sauce ever incidentally that Ghia drank directly from the bottle throughout Alden's and Jack's pregnancies-thus proving Rao's is not only "the sauce", but the prenatal breakfast of champions.

Ghia Truesdale aka G.G. Garth, formerly represented by The William Morris Agency (Mike Sheresky, Marcy Posner), authored vintage cult classic thrillers published in 1994-1995 by Bantam, Doubleday, Dell Publishing (NIGHTMARE MATINEE, DRIVEN TO KILL!, PARTY TILL YOU SCREAM!, BAD DOG: A VAMPIRE'S CANINE), thanks to her legendary Editor, Kathleen Squires. Rom-com DRAGON SLAYER OF THE PINK SAND DEAD SEA DESERT is Ghia's very pink "covid baby" (JumpMaster Press, 2021). A gifted raconteuse, Ghia is proud to have served as the Editor for numerous best-selling fiction authors like Theodore Weesner, God rest his soul (LUCKY STRIKES, CARRYING), and John L'Heureux (THE MEDICI BOY). And she is blessed to have collaborated as Developmental Editor with actors, Armin Shimerman (ILLYRIA trilogy), and Sean Patrick Flanery (JANE TWO, as book Development Editor, and Co-Writer of JANE TWO screenplay and teleplay with Mr. Flanery). Editor/Curator of five contemporary art books published by Scala Arts Publishers (London, NYC) in collaboration with DTR Modern Galleries (NYC, Boston, Nantucket, Washington DC, Palm Beach), Ghia has loved inking living artists Halim A. Flowers, Hunt Slonem, Mr. Brainwash, Stephen Wilson, and Robert Mars.

To support philanthropic causes through her eponymous G.G. Garth Productions, Ghia has produced and EP'd concept-to-finish, strategically-crafted multimedia products: books, events, films. For example, her music videos and documentaries include: MUSIC IN MEDICINE with Steinways Artist / Surgeon, Dr. Claudius Conrad, and the Goethe Institute to support the Oncology Department of The Massachusetts General Hospital as Ghia is-mercifully-a breast cancer survivor. Her anti-bullying music video BRITSLAP (aka BITCHSLAP) co-produced with Ayhan Sahin and Mark Andrew Altschul, stars American Idol comedian Norman Gentle and America's Next Top Model's Nigel Barker. Her award-winning documentary LIFT: HUMANITARIAN RELIEF SONGS INITIATIVE to benefit Haiti earthquake survivors was co-produced with Joanne LaRiccia Media Productions, and Razaq Baloch, Chuck Taylor, and Ayhan Sahin. With Grammy Winners Hernan Romero and Rich Tozzoli, Ghia as Librettist produced and EP'd her double album (STYX + STONE) and many other single songs with Young Pals Records NYC. Playwright, Ghia is very grateful to have been permitted to present her one act, THE MILLENNIUM ONLY A MOTHER COULD SAVE, featuring a Mom slipcovered in right-proper cabochon rose upholstery, a waifish Mime, and starring Nicole Marshall Watkins as the Muse tasked with one critically long monologue, directed by Kim Anton, PKE/Coronet Theater Annex in LA at the turn of the last century. New Englander Ghia is the proud mother of two gifted adult children-one comedienne, one journalist-who are better writers than their mother. She lives at Boston's South Shore on Nantasket Beach, a pristine film location with staggering views from every sightline and competitive Massachusetts film tax credits.
