Amber Kain was born to a family of theater veterans in New York City. Her godfather was the late Joseph Papp, legendary producer & founder of The Public Theater on Lafayette Street in Manhattan. Amber began acting professionally as a young child in the 1980s, appearing in over three dozen of television commercials as well as on stage in children's theater. In addition to her film & TV credits, Amber Kain has performed at acclaimed off-Broadway playhouses including Playwrights Horizons, 2nd Stage & The Public Theater. Ms. Kain honed her craft while on the job as a kid & then studied Shakespearean performance & interpretation as an adult at The Public Theater's acclaimed Shakespeare Lab.
