Emily Hurson is a graduate of the CFC Prime Time Television Writing program. She is a stage, screen and voice actor, screenwriter and playwright. Also a graduate of the University of Toronto Theatre Program, Hurson wrote and performed the Toronto Fringe plays, NowHere and Sleepy Jean (co-author), both named "Best of Fringe." Emily's involved in the vibrant Toronto improv scene where she developed a passion for writing comedy in addition to drama. She created the half-hour series, 33 Threeways and Fake Dates, as well as the drama anthology, Decade, The Dakota -The Day John Lennon was Murdered. She co-created the one-hour drama series One More Day and co-created and co-wrote the road-trip feature Running on Empty.
