Tal was born in Israel, where he worked in entertainment journalism, Tal gained valuable experience as a primary journalist for two prominent websites Ynet and Walla! Tal ventured to America where he began his studies at San Francisco Art Institute where he learned traditional film studies. Then made the move to New York City where he sought a more practical film training program(SVA). There he found his strengths particularly in film pre-production, casting and management.
