Born in Jerusalem, Israel. Yael established Moonstone Entertainment with her husband Ernst "Etchie" Stroh at the Cannes Film Festival of 1992.

A producer of numerous films, Yael is President of Moonstone Entertainment and Partner in Prestige Films with Etchie Stroh and Jay Firestone.

Yael has resided in Los Angeles since 1987. Yael and Etchie have two sons (Eylon Stroh and Shahar Stroh).
