David Salzberg is a founding member and principal at Valor Media Group in Beverly Hills, California. David is an award-winning storyteller who works as a Director, Producer, and Creator in all forms of media, with over twenty years of experience bringing quality stories to a Global Audience.
Salzberg is a director and producer of the "Heroes of Valor Collection", a series of the most successful non-scripted war films of all time. The critically acclaimed and award-winning titles include; "The Hornet's Nest", "Citizen Soldier", "Danger Close", "Apache Warrior" and the most recent title, "Above the Best", released worldwide in 2019.
David's body of work includes producing the critically acclaimed and award-winning non-scripted films entitled; Running the Sahara, Executive Produced and Narrated by Matt Damon, La Source, Narrated by Don Cheadle, For Right or Wrong and White Space, which was produced and distributed in partnership with Burton Snowboards, Mandalay Sports, and NBC.
Salzberg created and produced The WCW Superstar Series with Warner Brothers, TNT, and TBS. The WCW series initially cost less than a million dollars to produce and went on to gross sixty million dollars.
David developed and produced a series of made-for-television movies including First Daughter, basic cables' highest-rated original movie of all time, starring Mariel Hemingway; First Target, starring Darryl Hannah, First Shot, and Shutterspeed for TBS and TNT. Additionally, he created and produced the hit ABC Family series Go For It TV (GFTV). GFTV was filmed and produced at Universal Studios FL as a live audience children's game show attraction. David was instrumental in packaging this property with ABC Family, Mandalay, Coke, GNC, and Health South at the President or CEO level.
David previously held a studio position with legendary producer and former Sony Studios Chairman, Peter Guber. David was President of Mandalay Sports Action Entertainment and Mandalay Integrated Media Entertainment. He founded these companies under the Mandalay Entertainment Group banner with Peter (CEO of Mandalay Entertainment Group). He held these executive positions with Mandalay for ten years. In this role, David was instrumental in forging MSAE and MIME's launch into non-scripted television, long-form television, digital media, and branded media.
Salzberg's work has screened at The White House for the POTUS and has earned over one hundred top festival and entertainment industry awards. David is active in supporting numerous charities including Fisher House, Working Wardrobes, and The Boston Bruins Foundation.
