Nicolas Small won the 2012 British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA)/Rocliffe award for emerging comedy screenwriters.

Nicolas started his career in New York working in development for Tribeca Productions before moving into representation as a Talent Manager for One Entertainment.

He was convinced to start writing himself, and shortly after returning to London was the runner-up in the inaugural Red Planet Writing Competition.
