Marie Patane is an Australian TV presenter, writer and film maker. Marie worked as a presenter for the Nine Network for many years and co-hosted the Australian version of "Entertainment Tonight" with Richard Wilkins. She began her career as a reporter on "Brisbane Extra" and Brisbane's "National Nine News" before becoming a reporter on the "Today Show". She also hosted many specials for Channel Nine including the "TV Week Logies Red Carpet", "Cleo Bachelor of the Year" and the "Opening of Fox Studios". Marie hosted "Dreamhome", one of Australia's first reality/renovations show and a pre-curser to The Block. Marie is also known for her work with Qantas' award winning Inflight Entertainment Network. She was a "face" of the channel for over 12 years, presenting a monthly entertainment show called "What's On" and travelled the world to present international and domestic arrival guides for the airline.

Marie is also known as a writer and director having made several short films including her award winning How Many Doctor's series. How Many Doctors Does it Take to Change a Light Bulb? won best comedy at Tropfest in 2006. The sequel, How Many MORE Doctor's Does it Take to Change a Light Bulb? won Marie the prestigious Women In Film award at the 2012 Tropfest. She also directed and produced an award winning short documentary called Bride of the Year, which she is now trying to turn into a feature film.

Marie teaches TV presenting courses at the esteemed Australian Film TV and Radio School in Sydney.
