Tony Miller BSC is a Director of Photography known for shooting drama including "Carnival Row", "Mr Malcolms List" and "Small Island". Phoebe Waller-Bridge hired Tony to shoot "Fleabag" based on his period drama background. He frequently sets up big VFX projects - recently "The Irregulars" for Netflix and film "Peter and Wendy" (Winner Emmy for best TV film).
He has won or been nominated for many awards including a win for BSC Best cinematography for "Quirke". Nominated for a Bafta for "Small Island". Nominated for an Emmy for "Fleabag". Nominated three times for RTS awards,
Growing up in Holland Sweden and France, Tony studied Drama at Bristol University. He started shooting film documentaries at the age of 23 and spent fifteen years worldwide making documentaries including multi-award winning "Mustang the Hidden Kingdom" and Emmy winning "Spirits of the Rainforest". He is a member of the British Society of Cinematographers and speaks Dutch and French. Tony holds dual English and New Zealand citizenship.
