Demosthenes is a native New Yorker who has worked with such world-renowned theater directors as Bartlett Sher at Broadway's Belasco Theatre, Doug Hughes at Lincoln Center's Vivian Beaumant Theater and Howard Davies at The National Theatre in London. He has originated leading roles in many world-premiere productions, including the Drama-Desk-nominated "Aftermath," for New York Theatre Workshop, and has excelled at playing characters of diverse nationalities and cultures. In both American and British television and films productions, he has worked opposite Tina Fey, Louis CK, Giovanni Ribisi, Stephen Graham, Peter Mullan, Michael Zegen, and David Schwimmer to name a few. Before beginning his acting career, Demosthenes earned a BA from NYU, in Politics & History and a Masters of International Affairs, from Columbia University. Demosthenes began his acting studies under the tutelage of Elizabeth Dillon, at HB Studios and has been working as a professional actor since 2001. He is a citizen of both the United States and European Union.
