Bob is from Ontario Canada, where he graduated from York University, Toronto, and moved to Los Angeles, where he quickly became involved in Post Production. Bob Gill Has since become a Producer, Line Producer, Visual FX Producer, Post Production Supervisor, and/or Production Manager on dozens of projects. He is finishing "My Name Is Bruce" Starring Bruce Campbell, and Just finished "The Hammer" Starring Adam Carolla. In recent past he finished a documentary titled "Masters of Production", for KCET/PBS, based on the art of production design, where Oscar winners from "The Graduate", "Blade Runner", "Chinatown", "American Beauty", and "Do the Right Thing" were interviewed. He Produced a short starring Molly Ringwald, which was shot by 5 time academy award nominee Alan Daviau ASC. Gill also produced 2 multi episodic series with Hunt Lowry (producer - "Last of the Mohicans", "A Time To Kill" etc.) These included 22-episodes of "Y2K Man" starring Adam Carolla and Cindy Margolis, and "Sunset Strip" starring Debbie Matenopoulos. In 2007 Bob left Filmworks/FX Inc., where he was Owner/President/Ceo since 2001. Filmworks/FX Inc. was a full service Post production facility that handled, Processing, Telecine, Visual FX, and Editing. At Filmworks/FX Inc. Bob also functioned as a Telecine Colorist, and a Digital Intermediate Colorist. Bob has 13 years experience as a colorist.
