Liliana Kohann is a singer/songwriter, poet and illustrator from Gdansk, Poland. She has been writing and performing since the age of 6, and has written well over a thousand poems, which showcase her unique ability to combine depth, beauty and humor. Her readers often describe her as Dr. Seuss for adults. She has composed the soundtracks for several video and film projects, as well as written, produced and performed on screen three songs for the major motion picture "Three Of Hearts," starring William Baldwin. Liliana recently released a set of albums of songs for both children and their parents entitled "Things on the Floor Can Wait," "My Sweet Little Boys," and "What Every Child Loves to Hear." This project is the culmination of her two passionate and deeply felt lifelong pursuits: music and children. She earned her Masters Degree in Pedagogy and Vocal Improvisation at the University of Gdansk, Poland, where she also founded the Foundation for Handicapped and Neglected Children. She received several awards for her poetry, performance and songwriting, including 1st place in the National Student Competition for Songwriters and Performers in Poland. Since arriving in America, she further pursued her education and work in the areas of behavioral psychology, and music composition.
