Evgeny Ruman was born in 1979, in Minsk and in 1990 immigrated to Israel with his family. He graduated from Tel Aviv University in the Film & TV department. Recipient of Excellence Award from Israeli Ministry of Culture for contribution to Israeli film (2013). Recipient of Stern Award for Immigrant Artists from Israeli Ministry of Immigration & Absorbtion (2014).
