Berta Gersten 20 Ağustos 1894'te Kraków, Malopolskie, Polonya'da doğdu. Mirele Efros (1939), Yiskor (1933) ve God, Man and Devil (1950) filmleriyle tanınan bir oyuncuydu. Profesör Irwin Henry Fenn ile evliydi. 10 Eylül 1972'de Brooklyn, New York, ABD'de öldü.
