Frederick Johnson was born in Newark, New Jersey. He has been a photographer since he was 12 years old learning from his late father, Dwight Johnson, photographer for boxing promoter Don King. Before transitioning to feature films as a still photographer, Frederick has covered major events such as Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, the Democratic National Convention, and major sporting events across the globe. He currently resides in Shaker Heights, Ohio.
