Darry Cowl 27 Ağustos 1925'te Vittel, Vosges, Fransa'da doğdu. Pas sur la bouche (2003), Jaloux comme un tigre (1964) ve Le triporteur (1957) filmleriyle tanınan bir aktör ve besteciydi. Rolande Kalis ve Nelly Marcon ile evliydi. 14 Şubat 2006 tarihinde Neuilly-sur-Seine, Hauts-de-Seine, Fransa'da öldü.
