Actor, Colby Dean Turner was born April 24, 2002, in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, the youngest of two children, with his elder brother, Brady Turner. His father, David Turner, was a tool and die maker turned firefighter, and his mother, Janet Quinlan, worked as a CA. accountant. His mother had Irish and French ancestry, and his father with British and Irish ancestry.

Turner decided he wanted to become an actor at the age of 10 and started taking lessons immediately. It wasn't until the age of 15 that he got cast in larger theater productions at Georgetown Little Theater, where he would remain for a few years. Performing in such plays as, Annie (2015) Twelfth Night (2018), and, Treasure Island (2019). He left the stage after graduating from Mississauga Secondary School in 2020. Turner then attended and graduated from the Acting for Film and Television program at Humber College in 2022. Since then, he's been in the new crime documentary series, Somebody's Hiding Something (2023), and short films like Inflicted (2022), Dangerous Game (2022), Co-Dependant (2022).
