Oyuncu
Born of French-Italian mother and Texan father, Jongiorgi Enos is the
oldest of five children, all of whom became involved in the arts and
two of them, his sisters Veronique Enos
and Mireille Enos, also became actors. He
started acting at age 12, and has performed in over 100 theatrical
productions, in television and film in the past 20+ years. He studied
for 10 years with Tad Danielewski (the
same acting coach who worked with
Martin Sheen,
Sigourney Weaver,
James Earl Jones, etc.), and went on to
teach acting himself for many years. Jongiorgi graduated with a BA in
theatre and film from BYU, class of 1989, where he worked closely with
the maverick Mormon auteurs,
Richard Dutcher and
Neil LaBute. Jongiorgi is a prolific
screenwriter and playwright as well as a director and producer. He is
married to Santia Hershey and they have three children, the youngest of
which suffered a brain injury as an infant, leading Jongiorgi to become
actively involved in children with brain injury issues, causes and
education. His interests include fly-fishing, book collecting, canoeing
and the outdoors. Jongiorgi is sometimes confused with his distant
cousin, fellow actor and namesake,
John Enos III.
