At a very early age Scott exhibited a raw talent for music and entertainment. He is a multi-talented Jack of all trades, an artists' artist, who enjoys having his hands in many creative endeavors. Scott's path has taken him into many facets of the entertainment business. He hosted and produced a radio show in Hollywood in the early 2000's. When a musical guest on his show heard Scott's music, he asked why Scott wasn't pursuing a music career. Scott's only answer was that he moved to Los Angeles to act. That spurred Scott to venture out and begin writing music and eventually performing out all around Los Angeles as a Solo act. Scott performed at well known clubs like Rainbow Room, The Whiskey, Viper Room, Lingerie, Hard Rock Cafe, The Good Hurt, the Hotel Cafe, Ghengis Cohen, BB Kings in City Walk among many others.
In 2004, after licensing his music on a show called "Rescue Me" on the FX network, Scott became an ASCAP published singer-songwriter and producer. Scott is a self-taught guitarist, musician, and producer whose eclectic music and music cues can be found online.
In 2007, shortly after the WGA strike on Hollywood Blvd, which brought scripted TV to its knees for some time, Scott and his writing partner Leah Foster began creating, developing and writing reality treatments, pitching to networks like Travel Channel, A&E, Discovery, HGTV, Bravo, and many others. Shortly thereafter, they decided to move into scripted television, as they had amassed a catalog of drama pitches with varying development stages.
In 2011, Scott and his writing partner, Leah Foster, shifted and began developing one-hour scripted drama content, for cable networks, pay cable and streaming platforms. One of Leah's treatments, for a one hour period drama would garner attention and a meeting at Cbs/Showtime and Hbo/Fox. During that time, an Emmy Winning Writer/Producer, loved the concept and attached himself to the show. This was all before finding literary representation. He would later attach to several other concepts and treatments.
Scott is also an accomplished professional private chef by trade and loves to cook and prepare Sushi to Italian cuisine. He has been seen in several cooking shows over the years, doing educational cooking segments for Mahalo.com, and can be seen online as of late in a limited series called "Welcome to My Kitchen".
Scott is open to anything entertainment. Many who meet Scott presume his eclectic interests can't carry as much weight as concentrating on just one pursuit. Scott's says, "...If someone can do more than one thing well and get paid for it let them do it. The era of defining yourself with one trade, or job description, or title, is over. I have many talents so why not exploit them all. That's what being an artist is all about."
