Frank Charles Dodson originally began in show business as a nightclub Singer under the influence of the late Teri Thornton, and Veteran Singer Adam Wade on the Playboy Club circuit, and Jack Callies Supper Club in Los Angeles, California. From there he lived in the United Kingdom for thirteen years, singing at 'Laurita's Soul Food Restaurant on the Fulham Road in London, England during the early 1970's. He was also featured frequently on the European continent at such venues as the 'Broadway Melody' nightclub with the Jimmy Walter/Victor Henderson Big Band in Paris, France, and the 'Astoria' nightclub in Genoa, Italy. Frank worked as a Singer, and Master of Ceremonies for 'The Luciano Migliorini Ballet Company' on a seven country tour of the middle east,visiting Cyprus, Turkey, Iraq, Lebanon, Eygpt, Greece, and Italy during the spring, and summer of 1974 before returning to London to make his legitimate theatrical stage debut in Gordon Porterfield's play 'Under the Clock' at the 'Royal Court Theatre' in Sloane Square under the direction of Bill Alexander.Since that time he has returned to the United States and appeared in numerous plays, and has done some film work. He has authored two books,'Wednesday's Child' as published by Xlibris Publishing Co, and recently a collaboration with Artist/Painter Ted Knapp on a coffee table book entitled 'A Journey Through Art'soon to appear in bookstores in 2015.
