Flowers is an Award Winning Executive Producer, Ad Executive, Actor, Writer, Director and Entrepreneur. He listened carefully when his acting coach told him, "If you want to be a good actor, get a life!"
With this advice in mind, Flowers picked up his ADHD and moved from Maryland to California to pursue his craft, all the while collecting diverse life experiences that have given him rich stories, compelling characters, and great artistic depth.
Besides his extensive work in the entertainment industry, Flowers has been a teacher, motivational speaker, licensed massage therapist, loan officer, photographer, certified personal trainer, Advertising Executive, barber, etc. He has spent time in places throughout the U.S. and beyond, inhabiting various social circles and cultures, further honing his sense of perspective and constantly adding to his cache of stories. Who said having ADHD is all-bad???
The assorted chapters of Flowers' life seep into his artistic endeavors. Flowers co-executive produced the live TV show event, "HEAVEN SENT", which broadcasted on FOX and live streamed internationally on YouTube as a pay-per-view event. The show featured Luke Aikins jumping out of a plane from 25,000 feet with no parachute, no wingsuit and landing safely in a net. The event earned a Guinness Book of World Records. Unfortunately or fortunately (depending on how you look at it), in 2016, Flowers was ahead of his time when he co-produced the Black Lives Matter anthem, "Bigger Than Us. Bigger Than Us" which featured NBA'S 2 time MVP Stephen Curry and All-Star guard, Damian Lillard and was created for JBL. The content of the song and music video revolved around police brutality and racial injustice. It aired on "NBA ON TNT" (not as a commercial) on Dr. Martin Luther King Day. The music video and song was awarded Clio Gold, London International Award Gold, Cannes Bronze Lion and One Show Merit.
Flowers was an early pioneer in the branded entertainment space with his contributions to BBDO's Snickers's hit streaming show, "Instant Def", which starred the Black Eyed Peas and Terry Crews, plus, Gatorade's streaming sports and entertainment platform, missionG.com. Many folks know that missionG.com launched Gatorade Replay, but what they don't know is that Flowers co-produced the series, "Leave It On The Floor", for the streaming platform. "Leave It On The Floor" was hosted by Derek Watkins (aka, Fonzworth Bentley) and featured several guests, including Will.I.Am, Lil' Wayne, the Jabbawockeez, Bootsy Collins, Chuck Brown and many more.
Flowers produced various pilots. One of which is a pilot with Jimmy Smith & Jesse Dylan, which was called, "Aww Funk Me!" "Aww Funk Me" stars, Legendary Musician, Bootsy Collins, ?uestlove of The Roots and The Choreographer of The 2007 Academy Awards, Fatima Robinson.
Flowers is a Series Regular role on a hit show called, "DOUBLE CROSS" where he plays the no nonsense Chief of police, Chief Potts. He is also gearing up to direct and star in a film that he wrote over 20 years ago, "ANGELIQUE."
Flowers is fervent about his work. He received his B.A. in English from Claflin University in Orangeburg, South Carolina. "In the hustle and bustle of living the life as an artist, I have found a passion in the art of storytelling. As a filmmaker, my personal ambition is to find ways to use my talents to heal lives and to bring laughter and entertainment into homes all across the world."
