Emy Mena is a Salvadoran actress who speaks Spanish, English, French and basic Italian. She was born in San Miguel, El Salvador in 1996 and now resides in La Libertad, El Salvador.

Although she was exposed to the arts from childhood, It wasn't until watching her high school's theatre teacher perform in a play that she discovered she wanted to become a professional actor. As it stands, that moment would be the epiphany that would change her life.

Initially, Emy faced limitations in pursuing acting due to the limited resources available for studying acting in El Salvador. As a result, she enrolled in a semester of psychology at the university. However, after just three months, she auditioned professionally for a play and successfully booked one of the lead roles. Later that same year, a Dramatic Arts major opened up at a prestigious university in the country, and without hesitation, she switched her career.

From that moment on, she fully immersed herself in the world of acting, allowing her to be part of over ten theater productions, including Romeo and Juliet, where she played Juliet, Dekameron, Wendy and Peter Pan, as well as musicals like Mamma Mia, Urinetown, and Elf. She also ventured into film, appearing in The Whisper of Silence, The Fishes Within, and the television series Coyote, produced by Paramount Network and Sony Pictures, directed by Michelle MacLaren.

For Emy, continuous training as an actress, personal growth, keeping her goals in mind, and the unconditional love and support of her family and support system are key to moving forward and turning dreams into reality.
