David William Crichton trades as MILD FRONTIERS - a "catch all" label for the creative enterprises and productions as composer,film maker,performer and producer.

Coming from Ayr in Scotland, U.K. his creative background is well established as a music performer, with violin as his main instrument from age 4.

He is now based in Glasgow, Scotland, U.K.

Recent developments see his MILD FRONTIERS activities bridging into film making, with future plans including more film productions, music recordings and live touring mixed media performances.

Crichton's style is a unique blend based on many music genres, from classical,folk, jazz, pop, rock, world and more.

David has violin and string arrangement performances on over 200 professional recordings so far, and many more live appearances around the earth, up to stadium capacity.

He has written music for commercial advertising, live ballet, contemporary dance, film, radio, television and theater.

As a WOMAD artist, he has performed on stages in New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, South Africa, Italy, Spain, U..K. and U.S.A and has toured extensively across Europe with a veritable array of acts and musicians.

He has also produced live events as MILD FRONTIERS, with up to 220+ international performers on stage.
