Amir Chamdin (born 1974 in Stockholm) first made a name for himself as the singer of the Swedish cult-band Infinite Mass. Creating and exploring the visual world of Infinite Mass gave Amir the stepping-stone for him to become a director. Amir later joined Jonas Åkerlund and Johan Renck and became the third director at Renck Åkerlund Film.

2004 Amir Chamdin received the MTV Award for Best Music Video directing The Cardigans: You're the Storm (2003).

2005 he founded the production company Chamdin & Stöhr together with producer Martina Stöhr and Daniel Sachs. Together they have produced a number of international award-winning commercials such as: H&M, Ikea, Adidas, Nokia & The Andy Warhol Exhibition.

2006 Amir Chamdin made his cinematic debut with the film Om Gud vill (2006), which starred Nina Persson from The Cardigans and Amir himself. When seeing the film, Jack White (The White Stripes) decided to give Amir Chamdin permission to record a new version of the song "Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground". This later became the theme song of the movie.

2010 Amir Chamdin latest feature film Cornelis (2010) premiered in Sweden and Norway. Cornelis being the unique chronicle about one of Sweden's greatest music legends. Amir Chamdin made an unexpected move casting Hans-Erik Dyvik Husby (Turbonegro) as Cornelis. "Cornelis" went straight to number 1 at the box office and it has been very well received throughout the Nordic countries.

In 2011 Amir been directing over 15 worldwide Television campaigns for H&M. Music is a big and important part of Amir's visual work and life. The highlight of the year was a meeting with one of Amir's most inspiring composers Ennio Morricone.
