Twin-brothers born in Kristiania (now Oslo) Norway in 1909. They became famous dancers all over Europe around 1928-1936. They appeared with Mistinguett and Josephine Baker , and also became very popular in America.

Leif was also a very good painter , and later in life he worked as a tour- guide in Oslo. He died in Oslo April 1967.

Paal was active in the US air-force during the second world war , and was wounded. Before the war he appeared in a German film called: " Es leuchten die sterne" in 1938.

Back in Norway he wrote a novel in 1950, and some film scripts, and he also had bit parts in some Norwegian films under the name Paal Rocky.

He died in New York 1955. Both brothers are buried in Oslo.
