Lorin Kauffeld was born in Pretoria, South Africa and immigrated to Australia in 2006.

She is fluent in Afrikaans and English and speaks both languages daily. Lorin is passionate about film and the character development process that goes into each performance, which has led to her pursuing various forms of martial arts such as Muay Thai, Boxing, Kickboxing and Taekwondo (ITF & WTF) over 4 years. She still trains in a private capacity.

Lorin's first major role was being cast as Nina Hancock in The Faceless Man.

As the world has been affected the past 2 years, with many productions being canceled, Lorin has focused on voice training and setting up a home voice over studio.
