Michel-Maurice Levy 28 Haziran 1883'te Ville d'Avray, Hauts-de-Seine, Fransa'da doğdu. Maya (1949), Clodoche (1938) ve La dixième symphonie (1918) filmleriyle tanınan bir aktör ve besteciydi. 24 Ocak 1965 tarihinde Paris, Fransa'da öldü.
