Karel Gott was born on 14 July 1939 in Pilsen, Protectorate Bohemia and Moravia [now Plzen, Czech Republic]. He was an actor and composer, known for Gizli Ortak (2002), Starci na chmelu (1964) and Tri orísky pro Popelku (1973). He was married to Ivana Gottová. He died on 1 October 2019 in Prague, Czech Republic.
