This musical of the Municipal Theater of Prague searches for the border between beauty and ugliness. "Elephantasia" tells the story of Joseph Merrick the Elephant Man, who became an obludarium attraction in Victorian London. This opens up not only the world of a panopticon of human curiosities, but also the destinies of its inhabitants - the legendary Siamese Blazka sisters, the wild woman Samira, the Three-legged Frank and the Galician giant Moyzess. Who is the cruel Dr. Howard Reinhold and what are the chances for the good colleague Dr. Frederick Treves, who decided to give the Elephant Man a home and care? Who will reveal the secret of Jack the Ripper and how could the stay in London affect Mahatma Gandhi? And what will the main character experience on his way from the misery of the cage to the salons of the highest society?
