Bus conductor Mursi lives on roof of his lover Nagafah's house, who owns a hardware store, and her mother Atiyyat refuses to let him marry her daughter Nagafah. Mursi meets businessman Muhsen, who sends him with a bag to Alexandria to deliver it to Mr. Pitar and receive another bag from him. The bag contained tools for counterfeiting money, but Mursi did not know.
