Five men from Latvia - two bussinessmen, an experienced traveller, a cameraman, and their tour guide - head out to tame the fastest flowing river in North America - Stikine. But unexpected winter sets in, placing them in a situaltion that could cost them their lives. Despite locals’ advice, men decide to press on, leading them to dramatic events, that were not supposed to happen.

Baltic amber has always been valued as the Gold of the North, so two young Latvians set out on the ancient amber trade route from the Baltic coast to the south of India to learn how this Stone of the Sun has changed the world we live in.
