Prior to her award-winning gentrification exposé BETONGOLD Katrin Rothe directed the German-German love story DIE EX BIN ICH. Set in an East Berlin squat shortly after the fall of the Wall it features animation sequences and shooting stars Friedrike Kempter (“Berlin Coffee“) and Tino Mewes (“The Wave”).
