Gira & the Circus of Life is part of the innovative 5 film documentary series 'Reimagine Rio' by the acclaimed Brazilian filmmaker Katia Lund (City of God) and the first-time director Lili Fialho. This transformational circus school teaches that the risk of the circus is the risk of life, and students explore their limits and passions in the acrobatics and performance. The climax is the performance of Gira, a display of graceful movement and exposing one's spirit to others. You will never think the same again of the circus, of risk, and of reaching your dreams.
