Kafasına göre bir bekar hayatı süren Samuel, bir sabah erken saatlerde çalan kapı sesiyle uyanır. Kapıyı açtığında karşısında bir kadın ve küçük bir çocuk gören Samuel, Gloria isimli küçük kızın kendisinden olduğunu öğrenir.
