Halla, işini seven bir koro şefidir. Genç kadın aynı zamanda İzlanda’nın tabiatını, sanayi yıkımından kurtarmaya çalışan bir aktivisttir. Tam da bu dönemde aldığı bir haber tüm hayatını değiştirir. Hanna, uzun süredir evlat edinmek için mücadele vermiştir ve sonunda beklediği yanıt gelir. Bir kız çocuğu evlat edinmeye hak kazanan Halla, hayalleri arasına seçim yapmak zorunda kalacaktır.
