Elena, Yunanistan’daki ekonomik kriz yüzünden Frankfurt’a taşınmaya karar verir. Yunan sevgilisinden hamile kaldığını öğrenince, çocuğu aldırmak için ihtiyaç duyduğu parayı bulabilmek için Tessa ve Jan’ın evinde bakıcı olarak işe başlar. Başlarda zorluk çekse de zamanla Lotte bebekle iyi anlaşmaya başlar ve Tessa ile arkadaş olur. Dikkatsiz bir anında Tessa’yı kaybeden Elena Yunanistan’a kaçar.
