Film, kürtajın yasa dışı olduğu 1963 yılında Fransa'da geçiyor. Geleceği parlak bir öğrenci olan Anne’in hayatı, hamile olduğunu öğrenmesiyle alt üst olur. Zor bir dönemden geçen Anne, eğitimini bitirmek ve proleter ailesinin sosyal kaderinden kaçmak için kürtaj yaptırmaya karar verir.

Aynı zamanda bir akrobat olan Footit, sirkinde çalışan zenci Palyaço Chocolat ile “Footit & Chocolat” adında bir şov düzenler. Tüm anlaşmazlıklarına rağmen ikili, kısa sürede büyük bir üne sahip olurlar.

Stéphane, Cathy and Thierry are the best employees of the Employment Agency of their city. But their results are so good that the agency will have to close because of a lack of unemployed. The three colleagues then have the crazy idea of creating unemployment to save their job.

The No-Job Agency

1942 Paris. Annette is 20 years old, Jean is barely older, they love each other and the future is bright for them. But the deportation of the Jews of France will change their destiny. Upset at the idea of their only son marrying a Jewish woman, Jean Jausion's parents decide to keep young Annette Zelman away from them... and denounce her to the Gestapo. The machine was launched, but it was too late. Annette was deported to Auschwitz on June 22, 1942.
