Yeni Dalga akımı bünyesinde çektiği filmlerle müthiş bir ün ve hayran kitlesine kavuşan yönetmen Jean-Luc Godard (Louis Garrel), 1967'de Çinli Kız (La Chinoise) filmini çekerken başrolde oynattığı Anne Wiazemsky'e (Stacy Martin) aşık olur ve ikili kısa süre sonra evlenir. Genç Anne çok mutludur, ancak Mayıs 1968 olaylarının gelişiyle Godard devrim düşüncesiyle fazlasıyla meşgul olmaya, evliliğini ve eşini ihmal etmeye ve farklı bir insana dönüşmeye başlar.

Godard ve Ben

Ever since she served on the jury during his trial, Nora has been convinced that Jacques Viguier is innocent, despite him being accused of murdering his wife. Following an appeal by the public prosecutor’s office, and fearing a miscarriage of justice, she convinces a leading lawyer to defend him during his second trial, on appeal. Together, they will put up a tenacious fight against injustice.
