In Philadelphia, the lesbian English tutor Callie Holloway is kidnapped while jogging, locked in the basement of a house and forced to have intercourse with the abductor. A couple of months later, the psychologist Danay Edwards is also kidnapped by the same man and forced to the same conditions as Callie. Philadelphia PD Detectives Theresa Dellassandro and Marcus Bridgeman are investigating the cases and trying to find anything in common. When the bartender Marly Collum is also kidnapped by the man while going home, her new boyfriend Keith Bradberry reports her disappearance to the police and is interviewed by Dellassandro and Bridgeman that believe he may be a suspect.
