Three guys from a small town, looking for easy money, decide to rob a local bank. Armed with an excavator, they break into the vault and take everything from there. The morning after the raid, the robbers find out that 25 million rubles have been stolen from the bank. This is where the question "Where is our money?" hangs in the air, because in fact the trio took only a million from the bank, which means that either there is a "rat" among their friends, or there are another 24 million in circulation somewhere in the town.

The main character is a cute ambitious girl Rita from a provincial town on the Black Sea coast. She decides to break out of the routine of doing local weddings and matinees and arrives to conquer the capital, trying to enroll in a drama school. All her life, Vera has been unsuccessfully searching for her father, who disappeared in the noughties. Already desperate to find at least some clues, Vera stumbles upon the trail of her dad in one of the next robberies and finds out the terrible details of his biography. Fascinated by the investigation, she does not suspect that at this time the hunt began for her.
