Film, Güney Kore'nin Kuzey Kore sınırında babasıyla birlikte yaşayan Jong-su’nun hikayesini anlatıyor. Kasaba atmosferinde yetişen ve küçük işlerle günü kurtaran Jong-su, yine bu günlerden birinde çocukluk arkadaşı Hae-mi ile karşılaşır. Kısa zamanda ikisi arasında bir çekim oluşsa da Hae-mi’nin hayallerindeki Afrika seyahatine çıkması gerekmektedir.
