1971, Leningrad. Ölümünden sonra ünlenecek Rus yazar Sergei Dovlatov, günlerini yazılarının yayımlanmasının koşulu olan Yazarlar Sendikası’na üyeliğini kovalayıp ufak yazı işleriyle geçirir. Akşamları ise caz dinlenen partilerde kentteki sanatçı ve yazarlarla bir araya gelir. Under Electric Clouds’un yönetmeni Alexey German Jr., Berlin’de dünya prömiyerini yapan yeni filminde Dovlatov’un hayatından altı günü anlatıyor ve bu hikâye üzerinden dönemin entelektüel çevresi ve onların Brejnev zamanı Sovyetler Birliği’yle ilişkisinin de portresini sunuyor.

Petrograd, Soviet Union, 1920s. Boris Letush, devastated by a personal tragedy, feels the need to put his conscience and his principles before the demands of the cruel system he serves, where law and justice are systematically ignored.

The Conscience

Young female fighter pilots arrive to the frontline. They have different stories and different fates. They are getting older, falling in love and lose their closest ones as well as take their place in the world of men. The air has become their home. However, at war no one knows whose fate is to live and who is doomed to die.
