Birbirlerini çok seven ve Paris’te yaşayan Simon ve Lisa çiftinin ilişkisi Simon’un Fransa’yı terk etmesiyle son bulur. Lisa, uzun süre Simon’dan haber geleceğini düşünse de, bu hiçbir zaman gerçekleşmez. Aradan birkaç yıl geçtikten sonra Simon ile yolları yeniden kesişir fakat bu karşılaşma beklenmedik olayların yaşanmasına sebep olacaktır…
