Three young adventurers set out from Bayreuth, Germany to the Black Sea in Romania on a self-supported bike-packing race - the "Transost". Travelling on their own, the challenges they face are not just physical but also psychological.

Heading East - Abenteuer Transost

A young man from a simple suburb of Bremen has a dream: Against the traditional ideas of his Turkish-born family, Savas Coban wants to achieve his goal to make a living as an extreme athlete. And so, he runs 87 ultramarathons in 87 days through crisis-ridden Peru - across the desert and the snow-covered Andes, through the rainforest and man-made barricades.
