Guccini was born in Modena but moved a few months later to Pavana, a small town on the mountains between Pistoia and Modena. When he grew up he moved to Bologna where he now lives. Very well known as a singer (he published 18 LPs until 1999), he wrote also three very autobiographical novels. Since his record company's office is in Milan, he usually spends some weeks during the year.
