He studied film directing at the prestigious Australian Film Base, where he gained a comprehensive understanding of the art and technique of cinematic storytelling. Additionally, he holds a diploma in Professional Photography, bringing a nuanced visual perspective to his filmmaking endeavors.

Richard proudly received acclaim as an award winner for his short film titled "Daddy" at the Tagore International Film Festival in 2020.
